Sarah Strang, artist in residence at the Union Chapel, has been working with the residents of nearby Dixon Clark Court on a project around ‘belonging.’ – how residents relate to their local community. Captured creatively in this project. are the themes of isolation and how Dixon Clark Court residents experience living in the area. Isolation, lonliness and commmunity engagement are also key themes of Islington Giving and a percentage of the entrance fee will include a donation to Islington Giving . This concert is an opportunity to experience a taste of this project in a live ‘soundscape’ situated in the unique surroundings of The Union Chapel. Note; You may have spotted that Dixon Clark Court is the residential tower block featured on some of the Islington Giving publicity.
