Islington is home to some of the country’s richest people. However, we also have the fourth highest level of child poverty in England and the lowest life expectancy for men in London.
Islington Giving is a campaign for local philanthropy which asks residents and businesses to give what they can, be it money or time, to make a real difference to the community.
We support 30 projects which address our three key themes; Investing in Young People, Tackling Poverty and Confronting Isolation. This video is just one example – click here to find out more about other projects we support.
